Ice skating in London

This holiday season (December 2004) we tried some ice rinks in London. Ice skating is becoming a popular holiday season activity, as the rink at Somerset House is in its fifth season. Most of these rinks are quite temporary, being open only 2 weeks to 2 months.

The ice rink at Somerset House is very popular - evening sessions are sold out much ahead of time. These rinks sell tickets to specific sessions on Ticketmaster in the UK.

All the rinks are within walking distance from public transportation and not too difficult to get to.
